5 Ways to Get Cash Back on Your Weekly Shopping

Do you shop? Obviously, if you eat food, wear clothes, or have a house you have to shop at some point.  Right? Anyway, wouldn’t you like to get back some of the money you put out ?  If you answered yes, then the items below are for you.

One of the easiest ways to get a bit of cash back from what you spend is by using apps like Ibotta. Briefly, Ibotta is an app that rewards you in cash for certain purchases you make. All you have to do is:

  1. dowload the app (it’s free)
  2. activate the rebate in the app
  3. shop as you would normally do
  4. verify the purchase in the app
  5. upload your receipt.

Receipt Hog

Like Ibotta, Receipt Hop is an app that rewards you when you upload photos of your receipts. However, you are rewarded in coins instead of cash. After you have reached 1000 coins you can redeem your coins for Amazon gift cards or cash. Watch this video I made about Receipt Hog for more info.

Another way to get a “big fat check” in rebates is by using Ebates. Briefly, Ebates is a site which pays you a percentage of what you spend. Right now, you can get cash back from places like Wal-Mart, Etsy, Macy’s Brookstone, and more. It is free to sign up.

Once you do, all you need to do is click on the store that you want to shop at. When you are redirected that the store’s site simply shop as you normally would. Just remember stay in the same window you were redirected to so your rebate registers.

Swagbucks is an all around great site to use. I say this because you earn rebates through the site as well as make money, and get free gift cards. Below are a couple of videos I made about Swagbucks.

Become a DreamTrips Member

Though this is primarily a travel based lifestyle club, there are other benefits to being a member. One of those benefits of the platinum membership is earning rebates on purchases like groceries, household supplies, and even Groupon purchases. Your rebates can be used for flights, car rentals, and vacations. I don’t know about you, but I am earning toward vacations this way every week. To see a review of the travel side of this rebate option watch the video below. The video is best heard through headphones.
