If you really want to save money you should check out Freecycle.org. I mean you should have looked up Freecycle like yesterday. Freecycle.org is a free to join, free to use place to find free stuff. The best part is that the site is legit. Freecycle.org is like the Craiglist free section on steroids. You can find almost anything on Freecycle.org. There are requirements and reasonable restrictions to the site.
Freecycle’s Mission Statement:
Welcome! The Freecycle Network™ is made up of 5,139 groups with 7,486,452 members around the world. It’s a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (and getting) stuff for free in their own towns. It’s all about reuse and keeping good stuff out of landfills. Each local group is moderated by local volunteers (them’s good people). Membership is free. To sign up, find your community by entering it into the search box above or by clicking on ‘Browse Groups’ above the search box. Have fun!
Pros: You get all kinds of free used stuff.
You can do your part to save the planet by keeping stuff out of landfills.
You can give away some of the stuff cluttering up your house.
Cons: Many posted items are broken.
Dealing with people online always has a risk. (Dealing with people in real life always has a risk too.)
You have to join a group.
