Saving Tip #5: Stop Buying Dryer Sheets

I know a lot of people don’t know that you can get static free clothes without buying disposable dryer sheets several times a month.

Instead of buying disposable dryer sheets you can use a product you probably have in your kitchen cabinet, aluminum foil. All you have to do is ball up some foil and throw it in the dryer at the beginning of your drying cycle. Some people find that foil works some find that foil dryer balls suck

Wool balls have also been used to reduce static. Here is a tutorial on how to make wool balls.

You could also buy static eliminators like the ones found on Amazon or Etsy. These seem to have a limit on how many times you can effectively use them.
Whatever you do, make sure the item you replace your disposable dryer sheets with reduces static, is reusable, and saves you money.
